SAS has a long-term relationship with Shelburne Farms helping to develop master plans, oversee the complex restoration of the Farm buildings, and design new buildings for the Farm’s expanding needs. It has been inspirational to help restore and maintain the architectural marvels that are the Shelburne Farms’ buildings.
One significant project was the Learning Center, which involved the full renovation and addition to the Old Dairy Barn. The AIA Vermont award-winning project was unfortunately never built, but it would have provided conference, sleeping, dining, and support facilities for up to 80 people.
